Upcoming Events

Tuesday December 5th 5:00 – 5:45 PM: Big Conversations with Children: Addressing Questions, Worries, and Fears

To work with young children is to constantly encounter unexpected “big” questions. This session is a book study on the topic of developmentally appropriate practices of addressing in-the-moment questions. This book provides clear guidelines and a wealth of examples based on children’s real questions and concerns, so you can be prepared to reassure and support young children and their families at the moment questions come up and beyond.

By attending, you will receive a FREE copy! RSVP here!

Thursday December 14th, 5:00 – 5:45 PM: Behavior Basics & Mental Health.

Tiffanie from the DPS Mental Health Team will discuss behaviors and behavior management both inside and outside of school. Join us to learn about potential behavior supports for students elementary to high school, and tips for managing behaviors at home as a parent. We will also touch on topics such as anxiety, affective needs, and partnering with schools to improve behavior outcomes. (PRIZES for attendees!) RSVP HERE!
