DPS is proud to partner with several local LGBTQ+ Affirming organizations to present a virtual LGBTQ+ Family Summit on from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 17. This summit is for families of LGBTQ+ students and other families wanting to strengthen their allyship to LGBTQ+ youth. Registration is required. Topics will include:
- Panel: Veteran Parents of LGBTQ+ Youth
- Transgender Allyship 101
- Introduction to Queer History and Culture
- Intersectionality in the LGBTQ+ Community
- Addressing Hate in Your Community
- Panel: LGBTQ+ Youth Voices
